Catherine Zeta-Jones has posted a rare photo of her son Dylan, who celebrated his 16th birthday this week. The actress, who has raised her children with Michael Douglas largely out of the spotlight, treated fans to an old throwback snap from her family album.
Alongside it she penned a sweet caption, writing: "My 'beautiful boy' is 16 today. I can't believe how blessed I am to be able to call you my son. I love you."
Dylan Michael was born in 2000, the first child for Catherine and her actor husband Michael. The couple, who married when their little boy was three months old, are also the proud parents to a daughter Carys Zeta, who is 13.

The Douglases have been enjoying their summer holidays in Italy, living la dolce vita in the pretty city of Florence. Catherine, 46, invited her parents on the trip – it was their first time to Florence – and shared a few travel snaps on Instagram.
"So sweet...My daughter and my father walking hand in hand in Florence," she captioned one photo.
Another showed the Mask of Zorro star posing in front of the city's cathedral, looking summer chic in a white broderie anglaise dress.

Catherine and Michael continued their trip to the south of France, with the actress sharing a photo of the couple dining alfresco.
Their visit was clearly on Catherine's mind as she posted another throwback snap a few days ago, of her kissing her husband-of-16-years on the cheek.
