No, the Duchess of Cambridge isn't leading a double life as an Olympic athlete! Kate has a doppelganger competing at Rio 2016 – 24-year-old French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot. Spectators at the women's road race final this week were quick to notice an uncanny resemblance between the two women, from their similar bone structure right down to their dimples.
While Pauline has lighter hair and is a decade younger than 34-year-old Kate, the likeness between the pair is striking, thanks to their enviable bone structure, eye shape and perfect smiles.

Not that the French athlete needs to rely on her royal resemblance to make headlines. While she was less than thrilled with her result in Rio – she came 26th in the women's road race final – Pauline has already made a name for herself as the first person ever in the history of cycling to hold the world road title, world cyclo-cross title and world mountain bike title at the same time.
She isn't the first Rio 2016 Olympian to be compared to a famous face. Brady Ellison, who helped Team USA take home a silver medal in the men's team archery this week, has been noticed for his striking resemblance to Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio.
Brady Ellison, meanwhile, has been likened to Leonardo DiCaprio
The 27-year-old was competing in Brazil with his team mates Zach Garrett and Jacob Linde-Kaminksi in this third Olympics Games – and it wasn't long before his appearance sparked a social media frenzy.
"Leo DiCaprio enjoying some time off from acting to play archery in the Rio Olympics," wrote on Twitter user, with another adding: "Leonardo DiCaprio (disguised as USA Team's Brady Ellison) wins silver in the men's archery!"
"Leo DiCaprio comes up just shy in his quest for gold. Credits his method acting in The Revenant for archery skills," joked a third.
