Britney Spears has confirmed rumours that she will be joining James Corden on the 'Carpool Karaoke' segment of The Late Late Show, and fans are already anticipating the star's sure to be brilliant car trip.
The I'm a Slave 4 U singer shared a snap of herself with the show host, tweeting: "Took a ride around LA with @JKCorden & did a little #CarpoolKaraoke. Watch the @latelateshow on 8/25 to see it!" Clad in a black lace bardot blouse and accessorising the chic look with a black choker, the 34-year-old looked delighted to be in James's company as the pair pointed to each other while stood in front of the Into the Woods actor's car.

Fans were quick to comment on the upcoming event, with one Britney fan writing: "Sounds like a blast!! I'll definitely be watching," while another wrote: "I can't wait to hear your beautiful voice singing classics & having James chime in!"
The mother-of-two is currently promoting her new album, Glory, and has already thanked fans for their support, tweeting: "Thank you all for loving & supporting #Glory. Available for download & streaming everywhere on 8/26. Can't wait for you all to hear it!"

Britney is the latest among several high-profile celebrities to take part in Carpool Karaoke, with Adele, Justin Bieber and One Direction among those to have joined the show host to chat about their upcoming projects and have a little bit of a singsong. The latest star to join James in his car was First Lady Michelle Obama, who sang along to Single Ladies and Get Your Freak On after being joined by Missy Elliot herself.
The pair took a driving tour around the White House as Michelle chatted about her husband, US President Barack Obama, and to share information on her campaign called Let Girl's Learn, which intends to get girls educated around the world.
