She's the biggest pop star in the world right now but it seems even Adele isn't immune from being upstaged. The loveable Londoner is currently on tour in America and, during a show at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, she pulled a fan from the audience up to join her.
A clip from the gig, which has since gone viral, shows 24-year-old Jamie-Grace from Georgia take to the stage, clearly in awe of Rolling in the Deep hit maker Adele. But it was 28-year-old Adele who was left speechless when she asked Jamie-Grace to sing her hit song Remedy.
Adele has taken her sell-out tour to America
Because, unbeknown to Adele, Jamie-Grace is actually a Grammy-nominated singer with a set of pipes to rival her idol. In 2012 her track Hold Me received a nod for Best Contemporary Christian Song – and it's easy to see why!
Clearly eager to hear more of Jamie-Grace's beautiful voice, Adele then encouraged her to sing Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling In Love With You. Watch her amazing covers – and Adele's hilarious reactions – in the clip below.
She was left shocked by Jamie-Grace's vocals
It's been an amazing year for Adele after the release of her hugely successful third album 25, and it looks like 2017 is going to be just as good. According to reports the mum-of-one will headline the Super Bowl halftime show, following in the footsteps of superstars including Beyoncé.
A source told The Sun: "There is nobody bigger in the world than Adele right now and organisers are doing absolutely everything they can to try to persuade her to sign up. She's sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers."
