Ray Quinn made a big impression on viewers when he stopped by ITV's Lorraine on Friday morning. The 27-year-old, who shot to fame on The X Factor a decade ago, revealed his increasingly muscular physique during his appearance on the breakfast show, as he opened up about his remarkable body transformation.
Ray - who first unveiled his new buffed-up torso back in November, following the end of his three-year marriage - told stand-in host Lisa Snowdon that his healthy new lifestyle is here to stay.
Ray Quinn stopped by Lorraine to talk about his dramatic transformation
"It sends all the positive vibes to your body, it gives you a positive mental attitude and then you attack other things with the same mentality so it's definitely been a massive change in my life – I wouldn't have it any other way," he said. "I like sweating, I like getting it out there and feeling good about yourself.
"For me, I need something to focus my mind on and that for me was the one thing at the time that was my choice. It was my dedication that would get the result that I wanted. Having that choice was a channel I could focus on."

Ray shocked fans when he revealed his ripped body at the end of last year on Twitter. In one photo, the former Brookside actor could be seen flaunting his bulging biceps, and channelling The Hulk, which he captioned: "What makes you think I'm not happy today!"

His transformation came just a few months after Ray and his wife Emma Stephens sadly announced the end of their marriage.
Ray said that working out gives him a "positive mental attitude"
In an official statement, Ray – who has a four-year-old son Harry with Emma - confirmed the split. "Unfortunately the speculation is true and Emma and I have regrettably parted ways,"he said. "Out of respect for the privacy of my family I don't want to delve into my private life too much however what I will say is that our lives, after a period of time, have gone down separate paths."
