There are no hard feelings between Lucy Mecklenburgh and Louis Smith. On Sunday evening, Lucy, 24, took to Twitter to publicly congratulate her ex and his gymnast teammate Max Whitlock on their wins at Rio 2016.
Louis, 27, finished in second place in the men's pommel horse event behind Max, who also took gold with his impressive floor routine.

Lucy and Louis dated for 14 months before their split at the start of the year. The news came as a big shock to fans; the couple had been virtually inseparable ever since they started dating, and seemed head over heels in love.
It was reported at the time that they had separated because Louis didn't want to settle down, but he denied that was the case in an Instagram post. "Yes me and Lucy have broken up!!" he confirmed in February. "Yes I'm ok and I'm glad she's ok as well. And yes we definitely want different things. And no the reason isn't because I refused to settle down. It's very different."

Heartbroken Lucy, meanwhile, admitted their break up had come as a total shock. She opened up about Louis in a candid interview with Fabulous magazine in March, saying: "What makes it harder is that there wasn't a massive big thing that happened. There was no cheating, no big scandal. We were very happy and everything was going the way it should. It felt like 'it' to me."
