It's been 28 years of married bliss for Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, but their latest selfie suggests they're very much still in the honeymoon period. Rita, 59, posted the selfie on Friday, showing her cuddling up to Tom, 60, against an idyllic-looking background.
Alongside the Instagram picture, actress Rita simply wrote: "I love you."
'I love you': Tom Hanks' wife Rita Wilson shared this sweet new snap
The happy couple have been married since 1988 and have sons Chester Hanks, 26, and Truman Theodore, 20. Tom also shares Colin, 38, and 34-year-old Elizabeth with first wife Samantha Lewes.
Tom recently opened up about his relationship with Rita, confessing she stopped him from feeling lonely. Discussing getting married the first time around at 21, he told BBC News: "I had kids very young. By then I thought I was rolling along with the natural order of things.
Tom previously claimed Rita stopped him from feeling lonely
"I didn't smoke pot, I didn't do drugs, I was not a party boy. I didn't drink too much, I went to bed at 10 minutes past 10pm. The rules were in place. I'm not a cheater. I like to play by the rules. But later on, you're 27, 28, you've learned what to say 'yes' to with more judiciousness."
The actor added: "I don't think I'll ever be lonely any more… that's how I felt when I met my wife."
And last year Tom revealed what he thinks has kept him and Rita together, telling Entertainment Tonight: "When we first looked at each other there was definitely a kind of, 'Hey, this is the place!' I felt that anyway. I think the end result is that we got married for all the right reasons."
