Downton Abbey co-stars Laura Carmichael and Michael Fox have managed to keep their romance under wraps ever since they started dating last year. But on Monday they made their very first public appearance together.
The couple stepped out to celebrate former Downton co-star Lily James's new role as the face of the fragrance My Burberry Black. They happily posed for pictures together at the launch party, 30-year-old Laura looking effortlessly chic as she cosied up to her boyfriend at the fashion label's Regent Street store.

Laura is best known for playing Lady Edith Crawley on the hit BBC period drama, while 27-year-old Michael appeared as servant Andrew Parker in seasons five and six of the show.
The pair started dating after falling for each other on set during filming for the last series, and their romance continued to blossom once the cameras stopped rolling.
Shortly after news of their relationship was revealed, a source confirmed to the Sun that the couple had "started off as mates, but quickly realised there was chemistry there and decided to start dating".

The insider added: "It's very early days but they are really enjoying each other's company. The best part is that since the show ended they have had a lot more time to spend with each other. Before that most of their time together was at work."
Also attending the Burberry party was actress Elizabeth McGovern, who played the Crawley sisters' mother Cora on Downton, as well as Victoria star Jenna Coleman and actor Douglas Booth.
Belle of the ball Lily, meanwhile, was supported at the event by her boyfriend of two years, actor Matt Smith.
