Kate Beckinsale embraced her fun and flirty side this week, as she shared a playful photo from her bathtub on Instagram. The 43-year-old actress uploaded a black and white selfie showing her lying back in the bath and blowing a bubblegum bubble as she poses for the camera.

With her hair piled up high up on her head, a few tendrils falling around her face, make-up free Kate let her natural beauty shine through in the snapshot – and her fans were quick to point out how incredibly youthful she looks. "Seriously?? It's like she doesn't age," wrote one follower, while another added: "This woman is so beautiful!"

Kate is a mum to one child, 17-year-old Lily – and earlier this month, mother and daughter shared a landmark moment. The star uploaded a video on Instagram showing her sat in the passenger seat of a car, being driven around by Lily.

"I've never had anything spring out of my uterus and drive me around before. I need a second," the English actress wrote alongside the funny clip, which shows Kate looking anxious as she is chauffeured around by the teen. She can then be heard letting out a little gasp, to which Lily replies: "It's ok. Can you not?!"

The actress recently shared a funny video of daughter Lily driving

Lily is Kate's child from her eight-year romance with actor Michael Sheen. The couple, who welcomed their daughter in London in 1999, split in 2003 – but they remain very good friends. "He's really dear, close family," she remarked earlier this year. "He's somebody I've known since I was 21-years-old. I really love him a lot."

Following her split from Michael, Kate had an 11-year marriage to director Len Wiseman. The couple, who met on the set of the 2003 movie Underworld, tied the knot in May 2004, but they sadly separated in November 2015.

"They are still friendly and spend time together in LA when Kate is there," a source told People at the time, adding that "there has been no drama".

"It's just not Kate's style," the source added. "They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart."
