Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to wish his wife Blake Lively a happy birthday in the most unusual of ways – as an afterthought after wishing country music star and the father of Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, many happy returns first.
The Deadpool actor has a huge and dedicated fan base on Twitter due to his hilarious, often sarcastic tweets in which he jokes about fatherhood, responds to fans and, of course, teases his wife, who turned 29 on Thursday.

Ryan joked about Blake's birthday on Twitter
In the tweet, the 39-year-old wrote: "Just want to wish Billy Ray Cyrus the most special, magical birthday ever. I love you with all my heart. Also, Happy Birthday to my wife."
Fans of the star were quick to praise the cheeky message, with one writing: "relationship goals," while another joked: "what a true husband you are."
Billy Ray got in touch himself to thank Ryan for the shout out, joining in on the joke as he replied: "Thanks man, you really know how to mend an Achy Breaky Heart! @VancityReynolds Tell your wife happy birthday."
The Canadian-born actor also often jokes about the couple's baby daughter James on social media, and how fatherhood has changed his life. In one post, he wrote: "Being a father is the single greatest feeling on earth. Not including those wonderful years I spent without a child, of course," in another he tweeted: "Put the baby down in her crib tonight. She scrunched her nose so cute, giggled, then turned into thousands of bats."
Taylor wished Blake a happy birthday on Instagram
Ryan wasn't the only famous face to take to social media to wish her a happy birthday, as her good friend Taylor Swift also took to Instagram to share a snap of the star to celebrate. In the photo, Taylor is holding a koala bear which Blake is stroking in a candid shot, and Taylor commented on the snap: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE! You're a wonderful friend, to humans and koalas alike. I absolutely love you."
