Heidi Klum annually hosts the most coveted Halloween party of the year, and also marks the occasion with sensational costumes which have become the stuff of legend. Now, it looks like the 43-year-old is already pulling out all of the stops for her spooky costume for 2016.

Sharing videos of herself having a plaster mould put over her face for her mysterious new costume, Heidi wrote: "Here we go again ....with Halloween just around the corner…" Her second video showed movie prosthetics expert Mike Marino apply the cast, showing how time consuming the process was.

The star looked to be in good spirits as she stayed perfectly still for the plaster, and grinned as the pink mould was finally removed, wiping her eyes. On the final video she revealed that the costume still had a long way to go before the 31st October, writing: "Step one…DONE."
Her fans were quick to reveal their excitement at seeing her latest costume, with one writing: "Her Halloween costume has begun. She is the BEST at Halloween," while another wrote: "It's going to be tough to beat last year," referring to Heidi's costume in 2015, where she dressed as Jessica Simpson, complete with body and face prosthetics.

The supermodel is clearly a huge fan of Halloween, as has been trying out steadily more and more lavish costumes since 2001.She has also previously dressed up as a butterfly, an old lady, Cleopatra, an ape and a body with" the first layer of skin ripped off" as Heidi told the Daily Mail at the time. Each costume has received huge praise for their spectacle and attention to detail.

Speaking to Boston Common about her fascination with the holiday, Heidi said: "When I came to New York City, I was surprised there weren't any really great Halloween parties, and I decided, I'm going to make that my night, and I'm going to set the bar really high and come with the craziest outfits.
