Frasier star Kelsey Grammer to become father for the seventh time

A congratulations are in order to Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte, who are expecting their third child together! The Frasier star, who also has four children from previous relationships, is reportedly "really excited" to welcome the new arrival.

Kelsey's 24-year-old daughter Greer revealed the exciting news to People magazine at the Storks premiere on Saturday. Chatting about her future half-sibling, she said: "I'm super excited. I think my dad and Kayte are the best parents and they love having little kids and they want a huge family, so I think it's just really exciting."

Kelsey is to become a dad for the seventh time 

The couple currently share four-year-old daughter Faith Evangeline Elisa, and two-year-old son Kelsey Gabriel Elias. The 61-year-old shares daughter Spencer, 32, with his first wife, Doreen Alderman 32, Greer after a relationship with hair and makeup stylist Barrie Buckner and daughter Mason Olivia, 14, and son Jude Gordon, 12, with third wife Camille Donatacci.

Greer, who followed her dad's footsteps as an actor and is currently appearing in American comedy Awkward continued: "My dad loves babies. He loves having children and he's always wanted a really big family, so he's just really excited to have a new little life in the family.

Kelsey's children are between the ages of 32 to two-year-olds

"It gets hard for other people [to keep track of his children]. People get confused with how the relations work. There's going to be so many of us. It's funny."

Kelsey has previously opened up about the "overwhelming gratification" of being a father, telling People magazine: "I can't imagine not trying for more because it’s been incredible. As soon as [he] came out, Kayte and I were going, 'Yeah, let’s do another one.'

"It's just this overwhelming gratification of being close to life like this. It just gives you such hope and joy. I've never felt more alive or more serenely happy than in the throes of life with these young people. I really enjoy it."
