It's been a weekend of celebration in the Brazier household!

Jeff Brazier has wished his son Freddy the happiest 12th birthday, by sharing a photo on Instagram with the sweetest caption. The proud dad wrote: "Happy 12th Birthday to my cheeky, funny, caring and independent little man. #HappyBdayFred."

Jeff's mini-me son struck a stylish pose in a trench coat, skinny jeans and brogues. Freddy is the younger son that Jeff shares with Jade Goody, who sadly passed away in 2009 following a battle with cancer.

"Defo see his mum in him but he's looking more like his dad now he's getting older!!" wrote one fan. "Teens next year!!! Good luck," they joked.

Another commented: "Looking suave like the little gentleman you are!"

Jeff treated his son to an incredibly indulgent birthday cake, which featured chocolate muffins, doughnuts, lashings of chocolate sauce and an upside down ice cream cone. "Big love to @Lils_Sunshine - The best last minute cake baker in the whole of Essex! It's nearly all gone," he tweeted.

Earlier this month Freddy embarked on a new adventurestarting senior school! But far from experiencing the typical nerves of new starters, Freddy seems to have taken it all in his stride. He also has older brother Bobby, 13, to count on for support.

Writing in his Huffington Post blog, Jeff recalled: "The night before, we settled Freddy in to bed knowing his uniform looked great and feeling secure knowing he had every item of stationary on his list. I wanted the morning of his first day at school to be effortless."

He added: "As I tucked him in I asked him one last time how he felt about his first day to which he replied, 'I don't have to be scared because I look smart in my new uniform and all I need to do is be myself.'"
