Johnny Ball has revealed his concerns for his grandchildren following daughter Zoe Ball’s surprise split from husband Norman Cook last week.
On Sunday, Zoe and Norman confirmed that they were parting ways after 18 years of marriage.
And while Johnny insists the couple remain on good terms, he is wary about the impact their separation will have on Woody, 15, and six-year-old Nelly.

"There is no animosity between the two of them, the TV veteran told Daily Mirror newspaper. "You worry the kids might be disturbed by it but it the long run it will be fine."
Zoe and Norman released a joint statement on the mother-of-two's Twitter page, confirming that they remain “great friends" despite their sad decision to end their marriage.

"With great sadness we are announcing that we have separated," the statement read. "After many exciting adventures together over the last 18 years we have come to the end of our rainbow.
"We are still great friends and will continue to support each other and raise our beautiful children together, living next door but one. X Zoe & Norm."
The former lovebirds began dating while Zoe worked at BBC Radio 1, and married at the Babington House in Somerset back in 1999.
