Is she or isn't she? Cheryl did little to dispel the persistent rumours that she is pregnant when she stepped out for the L'Oreal Gold Obsession Party on Sunday, showing off new curves in a black jumpsuit as she posed at the Paris Fashion Week event. Indeed, speculation that she is expecting a baby is now so rife that bookmakers have confirmed they have suspended betting on a baby announcement this year.
"After being flooded with bets over the last 48 hours on Cheryl announcing she is pregnant before the year is out, we have decided to pull the plug on this market for now as the sheer intensity of this gamble suggests an announcement could be imminent," Coral's John Hill told the Daily Star.
The news came on the same day that Cheryl was forced to disable comments on her Instagram posts after fans bombarded her with questions about whether she is starting a family with boyfriend Liam Payne.
Many of Cheryl's followers spoke out to condemn the speculation and "unnecessary hate" that was being posted on her page. "Upsets me that Cheryl felt the need to turn her Instagram comments off because of the unnecessary hate she is getting," wrote one, while another added: "So annoying that Cheryl had to disable her Instagram comments because of absolute idiots."
Neither Cheryl, 33, nor One Direction star Liam, 23, have commented on the baby reports so far. The couple started dating in February of this year, and are reportedly ready to tie the knot - meaning Cheryl is keen to officially end her marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
"Cheryl has moved on and is ready to start a new life with Liam. He means everything to her and she'd marry him in a heartbeat," a source told Heat magazine. "They've been broody for ages and Cheryl's told friends she'd happily have his babies, but having JB still hanging around is horrible."
