Shannen Doherty has shared an inspirational video of herself on Instagram, showing her unbreakable spirit as she undergoes chemotherapy.
Continuing her brave fight against breast cancer, the 45-year-old revealed exercising has helped her cope with the after-effects of the treatment.
"After chemo day. I believe that just moving helps so much in the healing process," she wrote alongside an image of herself after the fitness session. "It's not always easy and sometimes I can't do it the next day but I try to make an effort to get the blood flowing and the toxins out of my body thru working out.
"Some days are easy workouts and other days I push it but the key is to MOVE!!! This is for any illness. Obviously check with your doctor. The road to recovery is paved with all sorts of different material. #beastmode #fightlikeagirl #warrior." [sic]
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and she has since been documenting her fight against the disease on social media.
In the video from her gym session, Shannen explained how exercising with her personal trainer has helped motivate her.
"Let me tell ya....," she began. "Shaking your booty is hard work with my Neda who's been helping me move and get toxins out. Yes I was tired, yes I wanted to be in bed but I went and moved and felt way better. Any exercise during illness is good. We can do it!!! #beastmode with@jammalibu #fightlikeagirl #warrior."
Earlier this year, the Charmed starlet opened up to ET about her diagnosis, saying it has had a positive effect on her marriage to husband Kurt Iswarienko.
"Cancer has in a strange way done some amazing things for me," she explained. "It's allowed me to be more me, like much more in touch with who I am, and much more vulnerable and the person that I always was, but I think it got hidden behind a lot of other stuff. My marriage was always fantastic but it's even better now."
