Rose McGowan has claimed that she was raped by a top Hollywood executive in the past.

The former Charmed actress made the brave revelation on Twitter in response to the trending hashtag #WhyWomenDontReport, which encourages women to speak out about abuse they may have suffered.

Rose, 43, listed her reasons in a series of tweets, saying that she was "shamed" over the sexual assault that is an "open secret" in Hollywood.
