Model and presenter Lisa Snowdon poses for her first exclusive photoshoot with entrepreneur boyfriend George Smart in this week’s HELLO! Magazine and calls him ‘the kindest, most loving person I’ve ever met’.
In an exclusive interview during a holiday on the Caribbean island of Antigua, the couple talk about their year-long relationship – and their thoughts on marriage and children.
Asked if she and George will marry, Lisa says: “Yes, at some point. But there’s no pressure because we fit … I know we’ll be together forever.”
She adds: “I’ve always wanted to be a mum. But I’ll be 45 in January and I’ve seen friends struggle with the heartaches of IVF. We’re just really blessed we’ve found each other. It could happen, but you just don’t know.”
Lisa, 44, first met 37-year-old George 14 years ago when they both worked at MTV and the couple were reintroduced a year ago.
“He’s my best friend. He’s understanding, nurturing and thoughtful and he gets me beyond anyone I’ve ever met before. He cares about me and I care about him. It feels like we were meant to be together,” says the former Britain’s Next Top Model presenter, who left her job on Capital Radio FM’s breakfast show last December.
Lisa, who once dated Hollywood star George Clooney, says she’s also had her fair share of bad boys. “Many girls are attracted to them. They think it’s really exciting, but it doesn’t work out. At least it didn’t for me.”
