Shannen Doherty has paid a loving tribute to her husband Kurt Iswarienko as she marked their fifth wedding anniversary with a sweet Instagram post.
Taking to her social media site on Saturday during a romantic getaway in Mexico, the 45-year-old hailed her partner whilst continuing with her fight against cancer.
"5 years ago today I made one of the best decisions of my life," she said alongside the image of the pair petting a zebra. "I said "I do" and married my best friend and soul mate @kurtiswarienko. Life has thrown us some huge curves and we have faced them together with strength, love, passion and a desire to stand next to one another thru it all." [sic]

Shannen, who married her long-term partner in October 2011, confessed that their relationship has been the perfect foundation for her.
"I have learned what partnership truly is with this man," she added. "Yes we love to travel and have adventures together like today... hanging out with Vicky the zebra but everyday is an adventure with Kurt regardless of where we are and what we are doing. #thisistruelove #anniversary #mexico" [sic]
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and she has since been documenting her fight against the disease on social media.
Earlier this year, the Charmed starlet opened up to ET about her diagnosis, saying it has had a positive effect on her marriage to husband Kurt.
"Cancer has in a strange way done some amazing things for me," she explained. "It's allowed me to be more me, like much more in touch with who I am, and much more vulnerable and the person that I always was, but I think it got hidden behind a lot of other stuff. My marriage was always fantastic but it's even better now."
