It's been thirteen years since Michelle McManus was crowned the second winner of Pop Idol. But these days, the star looks barely recognisable! The 36-year-old, who has since forged a career in comedy, has ditched her glossy brunette tresses for a dramatic candy floss pink cropped hairdo.
Earlier this year, the former pop star joked that she underwent the dramatic makeover in order "celebrate the two weeks of summer Scotland gets" during an appearance on Lorraine.
She also revealed her aspirations to lose weight ahead of her upcoming nuptials with longtime boyfriend Jeff Nimmo - which is due to take place sometime next year.

"I don't want to get married at this weight," the singer explained as she opened up about the constant scrutiny she faced for her weight since appearing on the ITV show.
"It was difficult - everybody wants to look their best and lose weight" she further explained, before adding: "The weight thing was such a big deal. It will always be a part of me… [but] if I'm a skinny minnie or not, I'm happy."
The singer-turned-actress got engaged during a romantic vacation in May, with the couple being in a relationship since last autumn. She revealed her happy news on social media: "Just back from Tenerife. The sun shone, the cocktails flowed & the love of my life asked me to marry him."
Meanwhile, Michelle's transition from singing to comedy has so far been a success with her one-woman act being shown at the Edinburgh Festival this summer.
