Kimberley Walsh has spoken about those pregnancy rumours surrounding her best friend Cheryl. The 34-year-old star – who is expecting her second child – was quizzed on the baby reports while attending the Pride of Britain awards on Monday night.
"It's not that I am not allowed [to talk about it]," she told the Mirror. "It's just that she is my best friend. I don’t want to talk about her… anyway." When the newspaper then asked Kimberley to pass on a message of congratulations to Cheryl, she replied: "Thank you."

The former Girls Aloud singer looked stunning as she hit the red carpet with husband Justin Scott at the event, which was attended by a number of famous faces. One star noticeably missing from the annual awards ceremony, however, was Cheryl.
A few hours before proceedings got underway, the 33-year-old took to Twitter to confirm she would not be attending – seen by many as yet another indicator she is expecting a baby with boyfriend Liam Payne.
"Gutted I couldn't make the #prideofbritain awards tonight," Cheryl tweeted. "One of my favourite awards! Good luck to all the nominees you're all amazing."

The speculation surrounding Cheryl's pregnancy went into overdrive last week when the star was pictured leaving a signing for her new fragrance with what appeared to be a sizeable baby bump.
The photos are the clearest indication so far that the pregnancy reports are true – and it seems her fans are now just waiting for an official announcement. "Cheryl Cole can't deny them recent pictures of her with a bump, just announce you're pregnant already," said one Twitter follower.

Kimberley isn't the only star to comment on the rumours. X Factor's Olly Murs remained coy when he was recently questioned about Cheryl and Liam's baby plans.
"Honestly, listen, it's Cheryl and Liam's business… all the press are making speculation and rumours, but I am sure when they feel confident and want to come out and tell everyone, they will," he told the Sun.
"It's their own business and I'm sure they will be fantastic parents, if they are. So I wish them all the best."
