Fresh from her Great British Bake Off win, Candice Brown returned to the spotlight on Monday as she hit the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards. The 31-year-old was dressed to impress, having ditched her apron for a striking metallic Grecian-inspired gown, an oversized pink clutch bag and a pair of black sandals with feather detailing. She completed her look with a trademark bold lipstick – this time in a deep mahogany colour.
The secondary school PE teacher attended the awards with her boyfriend of four years, Liam Macauley, who proudly stood with his arm around her as they posed together for pictures.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to note that the TV star was wearing a decorative ring on that finger – but that doesn't mean the pair are set to walk down the aisle just yet. Candice, 31, has previously said that she likes to mix up her jewellery, and that her decision to wear a ring on her engagement finger is of no special significance.
Candice might have looked flawless for her arrival at the awards, but she revealed that her outfit actually only came together at the eleventh hour. "My dress is a last minute addition," she confessed to the Mirror. "Liam had to run out and get it for me because all my clothes got delivered to my neighbour and she's on holiday!"
Of her signature lipstick, she added: "It's a mixture between my favourite Mac Ruby Woo and YSL Liquid Lips. I dyed my hair this shade after Bake Off, so I've had it for a while."

While at the awards, Candice was also asked about her plans to take a 'baking road trip' with fellow GBBO finalist Jane Beedle.
"[Jane and I] talk all the time about going to France," she told Digital Spy. "We've both got a love of France, and we just thought, yeah it would be really good. I love markets. I'd probably wind her up by buying something massive that wouldn't fit in the car, and she'd moan at me. I'm sure we will probably get a little trip away."
The star was also asked whether she would follow in the footsteps of her Bake Off predecessor Nadiya Hussain, and host her own solo cookery show.
"At the moment I've got no idea!" she replied. "I don't think my feet have touched the ground. I'm struggling to remember my own name, I think! I'm really looking forward to the next little while."
