She has been keeping a low profile ever since her short-term relationship with Tom Hiddleston abruptly came to an end this summer. Showing no signs of a heartbreak, Taylor Swift certainly made quite a return to the spotlight at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night.
The 26-year-old, who presented the Entertainer of the Year award, looked absolutely incredible in a chic Julien Macdonald floor-length gown, which boasted a daring thigh-high slit and a statement cut-out neckline.
The fitted finish highlighted her lean and slender frame, while the mesh panels flashed a daring amount of flesh but suited the stunning star perfectly.

With her short blonde tresses left loose above her shoulders in tousled waves, Taylor drew further attention to her pretty facial features with a bold red lip and heavily lined eyes.
She told the audience: "It's almost been 13 years since I came to Nashville to become a songwriter and recording artist and I've learned so much about what it means to be an entertainer from the remarkable artists in this arena tonight.
"That's one of the reasons I feel so honoured to present this award to any one of these five outstanding nominees for Entertainer of the Year and be a part of this historic night we will always remember."

It's been three years since Taylor appeared at the CMAs; she has previously won 11 awards and has been nominated an astonishing 25 times.
Her appearance comes soon after the singer called time on her romance with British star Tom Hiddleston. The couple went public with their relationship in June when they were photographed kissing on a beach, which then descended into a media storm.
Prior to their romance, Taylor was embroiled in a bitter split with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris - which ended back in May after 15 months together.
