Tom Daley and Claudia Winkleman will team up to co-host the Team GB ball later this month.

The double Olympic medallist and the Strictly Come Dancing presenter will front an evening of great entertainment and Olympic excitement on Wednesday 30 November at Battersea Evolution in London.

Team GB's athletes will come together following their success at Rio 2016, which saw the group rank second only to Team USA. Great Britain brought home a total of 67 medals, with 27 golds.

At the ball, the athletes will be joined by stars from the world of entertainment, fashion and sport.

Guests will be treated to a three course dinner, live music and the chance to bid for once-in-a-lifetime experiences through an auction, which helps support Team GB on the journey to PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020 and beyond. Limited tables are still available for the evening.

The Team GB awards include Great Britain's Choice, presented by Aldi and voted for by the British public; the Olympians' Olympian, voted for by Team GB's Rio 2016 Olympians and Team GB's Ultimate Superfan, presented by Panasonic, among other categories.

"The Team GB Ball will be a fantastic night," said Claudia Winkleman

Tom, who won 10m synchro bronze alongside Dan Goodfellow in Rio, said that the awards ceremony "is going to be a lot of fun". "It's a great chance for the athletes to come together to celebrate the success of Rio but also recognise some of those achievements through the Team GB Awards," said the diver. "Rio 2016 did so much to inspire the nation once again around Olympic sport and events like the ball are crucial in helping Team GB as they prepare for future Olympic Games." Claudia Winkleman added: "Rio was just the most incredible spectacle and, much like the entire nation, I was totally gripped by Team GB and the performances of our athletes. The Team GB Ball will be a fantastic night and it's a genuine pleasure to be able to host our Olympians and celebrate their success next to the very excellent Tom."
