They are one of Hollywood's most beloved couples, who have been together for four blissful years. And in a new interview, Ryan Reynolds has given fans an insight into the early days of his blossoming romance with wife Blake Lively.
Speaking in the latest issue of GQ Magazine, the 40-year-old actor opened up about their first date, the moment where he realised the Hollywood beauty was "The One".
"We were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that's open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, 'Want to dance?'," he explained after prompting. "No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, 'Oh, I think I just crossed a line.'"

And about starting a family with Blake, he simply replied: "I'm on the precipice of having a real American family. I mean, I always imagined that would happen, and then it happened. Every idiotic Hallmark-card cliché is true."
Ryan and Blake - who met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010, and married two years later - welcomed their first daughter James into the world in December 2014 and their second child in September - they are yet to reveal her name.
Last month, the Gossip Girl actress organised a surprise dinner for Ryan's 40th birthday with close friends and family at the couple's favourite restaurant in New York, O Ya.
In a gushing tribute, the mother-of-two revealed that she and Ryan first fell in love in the Boston branch of the restaurant.
"We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston," she said in the caption. "We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVOURITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin'..."
