He's only been away from home for a few days, but Wayne Bridge is clearly missing his family. The I'm A Celebrity favourite couldn't help but talk about his wife Frankie Bridge while bonding with his fellow campmates this week, revealing that the pair were actually introduced by a certain celebrity matchmaker.

"I was just on a night out, and James Corden was there," he explained. "He got her phone, put my number in it. And then put her number in my phone. And then we basically text a little bit, and just ended up going for dinner."

The sweet couple started dating in 2011, and tied the knot in July 2014. They are now proud parents to two little boys together; Parker, three, and one-year-old Carter. Wayne is also a father to son Jaydon with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel.

Reminiscing about his wedding to the Saturdays star, 36-year-old Wayne then admitted: "I was an emotional wreck! I couldn't stop crying."

It's not the first time the former footballer has opened up about his home life. Earlier this week he become emotional while speaking to campmate Larry Lamb, and later headed to the Bush Telegraph to talk about his wife and children.

"I retired from football two years ago, and I've just been like a stay-at-home dad… spending time with the kids," Wayne said. "So not being able to call and stuff, I find it really hard. You know, I just miss them loads."

Frankie, 27, has been loyally supporting her husband on social media ever since he stepped into the jungle – and she's not the only one. EastEnders actor Jake Wood – who, like Frankie, previously took part in Strictly Come Dancing – told fans this week that he has placed a bet on Wayne going on to win the show.
