She leads a beautifully blissful life with her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children in New York. In a new and candid interview, Sarah Jessica Parker has opened up about the birth of her 14-year-old son James - the only child she gave birth to naturally.
Reflecting on the happiest highlights in her life, the 51-year-old confessed her desire to relive the moment she gave birth. "If I could revisit one moment in my life, it would be the birth of my children, definitely," she told the latest issue of The Edit magazine. "I only got to give birth once. James is like, why do you always want to talk about that?!
Sarah Jessica Parker has said giving birth was the 'greatest experience' of her life
"I'm like, because it's the greatest! There is this suspended animation around (birth): everything goes away; the entire world is sucked up; time suspends. It's just you and, in my case, my husband, and this child, and it's absolute euphoria."
The Sex and the City actress also shares seven-year-old twin daughters Marion and Tabitha - who were born through a surrogate - with husband Matthew. The A-list family live in the fashionable West Village area of the city.

"Discussing her love for New York, Sarah said there's nowhere else she'd rather be. I can't imagine living anywhere else," she said. "I mean, Matthew and I do think about it, we look, we just don't do it. We stay. I used to think we were selfish, but when we came back to New York after the summer break this year I asked my daughters, 'Would you prefer it if we had space?' And they said, 'No!'"
Meanwhile, Sarah recently returned to TV screens in HBO's new dark comedy, Divorce. The drama follows the end of a 17-year marriage between Frances (Sarah) and Robert, played by Thomas Haden Church.
