Marc Anthony and Shannon De Lima will separate after two years of marriage, according to E! News. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in the Dominican Republic back in 2014.
The surprising separation announcement came hours after Marc shared a kiss with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez on stage at the 2016 Latin Grammys. Shannon was not in attendance for the award show and buzz-worthy moment between the exes. However, during a speech at the show, the singer compared the moment to "kissing a sister", while Jennifer's manager Benny Medina told TMZ that the pair were "absolutely, categorically, 100% not back together."
Marc and Shannon have reportedly split
The Jenny From the Block singer paid tribute to Marc, saying in Spanish: "Marc, you are a living legend who has laid bare your heart and soul on your musical journey.
"We've learned so much and we've grown so much, and you've always been so many things in my life: my mentor, a twin soul, a father who's not only the person of the year, he's the person of all time."
The couple's separation marks the fourth one for the Latin artist. Marc was previously married to Jennifer Lopez, Dayanara Torres and Maria Von Ritchie Lopez. The Grammy artist shares son Cristian and Ryan with Dayanara and twins Emme and Max with JLo.

It was also revealed back in August that Jennifer had split from her on-off boyfriend Casper Smart, who she had been dating since 2011. A source told People magazine: "It wasn't anything dramatic, and they were on good terms – it just came to a natural end.
"They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable."
