Frankie revealed she was missing her husband
Wayne spoke about leaving his family before entering the jungle, and how his wife reacted to his decision to appear on the show. He said: "When I talked about it with my wife, she knew I would regret it if I didn't go in. She was quite surprised at first because I haven't done anything like this before but she hopes I will enjoy it… This is the longest I have been away from my kids. And since I have stopped playing football, I have been doing Daddy dare care – especially if Frankie is busy. It's going to be difficult being away from them but I will try and make them proud."
