Danny Baker's departure from the I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle on Friday night took some of the camp mates by surprise - especially Adam Thomas

Partaking in some of his trademark banter, the cheeky Emmerdale actor didn't hold back as he blasted at his nemesis Martin, "It should have been you!" During the Extra Camp show, scenes were shown in which Adam immediately asked why Martin wasn't voted off. "It should've been Martin! I don't understand why it was Danny! Why did you not go?" The Homes Under the Hammer presenter quickly fired back: "It was only because you were immune!"

Adam asked Martin why he hadn't been the first voted out

Meanwhile, Danny handled being the first to leave camp graciously after finding himself in the bottom two with Carol Vorderman, and joked to Ant and Dec about why he may have been the first to leave after just seven days in the jungle. He said: "I'm not surprised to be turfed out fast… My winning personality once again descends upon the nation.. I wanted to do the show because I'm winding down my television work and the only thing I wanted to do is the best show on television. I love this show!" He also revealed that he was a strong supporter of Gogglebox star Scarlett to win the series. "Scarlett to win all day long, one of the smartest woman I've met in and out of television," he said. "You need the kids to go through to the final. They are smart as a whip, bright as a button."

Adam was unhappy to see Danny go

He also spoke about his rivalry with Martin at the beginning on their stay in the jungle, saying: "We didn't get off on the right foot, I'm a confrontational person. It's been love's young bloom since then. He's the one who's had the learning curve, it took him a while to realise it."
