As she prepares to welcome her second child into the world, Geri Horner is making sure she gets some much needed rest and relaxation ahead of the impending arrival. The Spice Girls star - who is expecting her first baby with husband Christian Horner - showed off her blossoming bump as she kicked back on the sofa with her beautiful pet pooch Stella.
Taking to her Instagram page over the weekend, the 44-year-old shared a candid black and white snap of herself, looking picture perfect during her moment of bliss. "Sunday snooze - with Stella & bump. #chill," she simply captioned the image.
Elsewhere, Geri has been busy working on new music material with GEM bandmates Emma Bunton and Mel B. She recently uploaded a shot of herself in the studio with Emma, 40, as they continue with world domination in their new group - post Spice Girls.

Meanwhile, it's coming up to two months since the singer and her husband of one year announced her pregnancy in a joint statement. "Spice Girl Geri Horner, 44, and husband Christian Horner OBE, 42, are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together," it read. "The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family."
Geri - aka Ginger Spice - also shared the news on Instagram, borrowing a line from her solo single It's Raining Men to make the announcement. "God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice," she wrote alongside a sketch of a heavily pregnant woman.

The mother-of-one married the Red Bull Formula 1 boss at a ceremony held in a parish church at Bedfordshire in May last year, where Geri's daughter Bluebell was a bridesmaid. The happy couple began dating early in 2014 after being friends for many years. They announced their engagement quietly a few months later with a small notice in The Times.
Both Geri and Christian both have children from previous marriages: Geri's 10-year-old daughter Bluebell, and Christian's three-year-old daughter Olivia from his relationship to former partner Beverley.
