Happy 1 December from Peter Andre and all of us here at HELLO!. We're so excited to launch our Celebrity Christmas Advent Calendar in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and hope new dad Peter's fabulous message will get you feeling fully festive as the countdown to Christmas begins!
Peter's always such a fabulous sport - and never more so than when there's a great cause to support. So we were thrilled when he agreed to kick off our star-studded Christmas countdown, and with the way he embraced not just one, but all of our props!
"Christmas in the Andre household is very fun!" Peter tells HELLO! in his awesome Christmas message. "If you've ever seen the movie Home Alone and how mad it is at Christmas with all the kids running around and that sort of thing, it's like that but double it – triple it!
"Obviously none of us are left home alone, we're all together, but it's the fun madness of it. Carrots are eaten by all the reindeer, Santa ate half the mince pies (sometimes he eats all of them; he should leave me some!).
"My favourite film is definitely Home Alone – I watch it every year," he adds before serenading us with his Christmas song of choice (Wham's Last Christmas – great taste Peter!)
As a dedicated dad-of-four (wife Emily gave birth to his fourth as-yet-unnamed son last week), Peter was really eager to get involved with GOSH's campaign to keep families together at Christmas.
"Christmas will be even madder this year because of course we've got the newborn with us, which is going to be fantastic! We didn't know whether we were having a boy or a girl so it's extra special," he told us behind the scenes.
"All I wanted in my stocking was a healthy baby, so thank you, Emily," he added, explaining his enthusiasm for the campaign.
And we hope that you will join Peter and HELLO! by supporting this very worthy cause. We all like to be with our loved ones at this time of year - but it's even more important for the families of patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
With your support, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity could help fund family accommodation so mums, dads, brothers and sisters can stay close by, or help fund the creation of bigger rooms in new hospital wards so parents of the most seriously ill children can stay by their bedside 24 hours a day.
The charity also funds play specialists so that children can enjoy some festive fun despite going through very difficult times, and research and equipment that will enable the hospital to find new cures and save more lives.
Every donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity will help keep families together this Christmas. Make a donation to GOSH CC online, or by texting FIVE to 70111*
