It's coming up to her one year wedding anniversary with Frank Lampard, and in a new interview, Christine Bleakley has opened up on her desire to have children. The 37-year-old - who appeared on Loose Women on Thursday - admitted she would love to have a baby before it's "too late".

"I'm 37 but in my head I'm about 23/24," she told the panel. "Of course you have to get your head around that biologically you can't have babies forever. I certainly would love to have children." The former One Show host first met Frank at the Pride Of Britain Awards in 2009 following an introduction by Piers Morgan. The couple tied the knot in a fairytale winter wedding ceremony on 20 December, after a four-year engagement.

Frank, 38, already has daughters Luna, 11, and Isla, aged nine from a previous relationship. Speaking about being a stepmother to the footballer's girls, Christine has revealed she feels like she has obtained a "strong sense of motherhood".

"I think with Frank having two little girls, you've got a strange sense of motherhood without being mummy but it is a wonderful thing," she confessed. "There are no grandchildren in my family at all so I know my mum and dad would secretly love it. They'd never put pressure on us but I know they'd secretly adore it."

Although Christine and Frank are yet to make future family plans, the TV personality admitted she would be open to the idea of IVF. "'I would probably [have IVF]," she explained. "I have very close friends that have gone down that road and I know it can be incredibly difficult, you go through various rounds and they don't work, it can be very stressful for couple. It's one of those things where you just think, 'Well, I'll put my trust in whatever it is up there.' But if you're told you're can't, then that's when I think I'll go down that route. I've had a very good trial period of him and I know he'll be a great dad."
