Sam Quek has made it to the final four on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and it is clear that her hockey squad are supporting her all the way! The teammates of the reality show contestant opened up about her time in the jungle so far, revealing that they are hoping that she goes "all the way."

During this year's British Olympic Ball, fellow Olympic gold medallist Laura Unsworth told HELLO!: "It's great that as a sport we can get out more into the media and spotlight. She is doing very well - I don't think many of us would last long in the jungle; we're not great with creepy crawlies. Krista might be ok because she comes from Kenya but Sam is doing really well so fingers crossed she will go all the way." Another teammate spoke about how difficult the Bush Tucker trials must be, adding: "They look super hard and she is doing so well."

Sam's hockey team mates are hoping she will win the show

Sam has been taking the trials and tribulations of the jungle in her stride – despite requiring medical attention after a baby cockroach got stuck in her ear during one of the challenges. The show's medic arrived to remove the critter before the brave contestant continued with the trial. Speaking about entering the jungle, the 28-year-old said: "It has been such a whirlwind since I got back from the Olympics. We were just hockey players trying to achieve our dream and to come back as a Gold medallist has meant that whatever we say is picked up immediately in the press.

Sam bravely continued with a trial after a bug was stuck in her ear

"That for me is a complete life changer but some good things have happened. I am embracing everything and to have been given the opportunity to do I’m A Celebrity is unthinkable and it’s just so crazy. I am so grateful… I am really looking forward to the challenge but gosh going in the Jungle is way tougher than playing in that penalty shoot out in the Final of the Olympics."
