In an interview with HELLO! Magazine, the 27-year-old has revealed this year, Christmas will be particularly special as it will be the first time their eldest son, Parker, will be old enough to be aware of the festive occasion. "We're looking forward to introducing him – and Carter – to the magic of Father Christmas and the same festive rituals we carried out as children," she explained. "We'll leave a glass of sherry and a mince pie for Santa and a carrot for his reindeer, and watch one of my favourite DVDs, about a grumpy Santa who goes on holiday."

Frankie Bridge has opened up about her plans for Christmas this year

The Saturdays singer married the football star Wayne in July 2014 after a three year romance, and the couple are the proud parents of two little boys, Parker and Carter. Talking about why the festive period is so special, Frankie added: "My family is massively into Christmas; we just love it. When I first met Wayne, he was more low-key about it because he usually had to play football. But after spending full-on Christmases with his mum and dad at my parents' house, he loves it too. The icing on the cake would be a white Christmas. I'd love it if it snows."

Although, the pop star has various plans for Christmas – Frankie is yet to start the shopping for presents. She confessed she prefers hunting for presents with Wayne, saying: "I like the thrill of the Christmas shopping rush, so I'll wait until [Wayne] gets back. In fact I hate shopping without him. He's great at finding interesting gifts and is brilliant at choosing shoes and clothes for me."

This year's series of this ITV show saw Wayne, 36, become a huge hit among viewers. The sportsman often talked about his children and opened up about how much he misses them during a candid conversation with his fellow campmates. "Some of the stories he [Larry Lamb] was telling me were touching and sad, and made me think of family," he explained. "I'm a stay at home dad. I spend loads of time with the kids, so not being able to call and see how they are in here... I find it really hard, I just miss them loads."

Wayne is also a father to 10-year-old son Jaydon, from his relationship with French model Vanessa Perroncel, who he dated from 2005 to 2009.
