For former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff, this year is set to be her most exciting Christmas yet, as it's the first time she and partner Ben Cohen will be celebrating with their six-month-old baby Mila.
"For me this Christmas is very special because my little one Mila is going to be six months old, and it's her first Christmas. So we'll be celebrating that," says Kristina in her exclusive HELLO! message for Great Ormond Street Hospital. "I'm sure there's going to be loads of little toys for her, and cute outfits, and obviously I'm going to take tonnes of photos of her to remember this day forever."
Kristina is also excited to bring the family together this Christmas. Joining her and ex-rugby star Ben will be as many family members as they can gather.
"In my household Christmas is a bit crazy," she says. "We have a lot of people. All generations are coming together, my mum is flying in from Russia, it's just a really great time. It's one of those days when we just eat, talk and remember all the great stories from the past."
And the super fit mum-of-one says that she has the perfect way to make sure she doesn't miss out on any of the family's festive treats. "I know it's very hard to keep fit during Christmas, because we all want to eat the lovely food we cook, but I think the main thing is portion control," she says. "This is what I always do; if you eat small portions you can enjoy a little bit of everything."
Kristina also admits that there is one more annual treat in the Cohen household: reliving the TV show where the happy couple first met in 2013. "As always we'll probably to end up watching the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. It's a tradition in our house anyway, and many years ago we used to be a part of the show, so it's going to be lots of fun watching it from the sofa," she says.
We hope that you will join Kristina and HELLO! by supporting this very worthy cause. We all like to be with our loved ones this time of year. For the families of patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital, this is especially true.
With your support, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity could help fund family accommodation so mums, dads, brothers and sisters can stay close by, or help fund the creation of bigger rooms in new hospital wards so parents of the most seriously ill children can stay by their bedside 24 hours a day.
The charity also funds play specialists so that children can enjoy some festive fun despite going through very difficult times, and funds research and equipment that will enable the hospital to find new cures and save more lives.
Every donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity will help keep families together this Christmas. And be sure to check back tomorrow to find out which of our wonderful celebs will be popping out from door number eight!
