Louis Tomlinson has taken to Twitter to thank his fans and well-wishers for their support after his mum Johannah Deakin passed away after battling leukaemia on Wednesday.
The star, who has confirmed that he will be going ahead with his solo performance on The X Factor on Saturday night, wrote: "All the support has been incredible! Let's do this together tonight." Louis will be performing in tribute of his mum who had been looking forward to seeing the show and wanted it to go ahead.

Friends and colleagues of the One Direction band member have also taken to social media to pay their respects, with Simon Cowell writing: "Heartbroken for you @Louis_Tomlinson. Your mum Jay was an incredible person. Sending you all my love," while band mate Liam Payne wrote: "I'm so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you, just know I love you the same from a million miles away as I do right next to you… My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can't begin to imagine what you are all going through."
This will be Louis' first Christmas as a father to baby Freddie, who was born in January earlier this year, and his son's mother Briana Jungwirth, who paid her own tribute to Freddie's grandmother. She wrote: "My heart aches. Every time I look at Freddie, I see you in him Jay. I will always remember the times we shared and the talks we had. I looked up to you and sadly only knowing you for a short time, I aspired to be just like you in a mother to Freddie. I promise to share with him all of what I know of you including your beautiful attributes. We both loved you very much. You'll always stay close forever in our hearts."
