Cruz Beckham had fun during his first ever interview with Capital FM to promote his charity Christmas single, If Everyday Was Christmas, and revealed some hilarious secrets about his mum and dad, David and Victoria!
While playing a game titled 'Mr and Mrs Beckham' the 11-year-old had to answer which parent was more likely to do certain things, and he joked that his mum was not only the most likely to fall asleep on the sofa and to say a 'naughty' word, but that she also takes the longest to get ready. He said: "My dad takes about ten minutes my mum takes about ten hours!"
Cruz is Victoria and David's youngest son
However, he admitted that his dad was "definitely" more likely to embarrass him and that both his mum and his older brother Romeo were the worst at telling jokes. The youngest son of the couple chatted about Christmas mornings at the Beckhams household, revealing that David always pretends there aren't any presents under the tree. "We always wake up at 6 am," he said. "And we go downstairs and my dad says, 'Wait let me check if there's presents downstairs' and he comes back up and he's like, 'Aw there's none.'"
David was with Cruz during the interview
Cruz seems to be enjoying following in his mum's footsteps as a singer, telling the Capital FM DJs: "Yeah it's amazing – it's two of my favourite things: singing and Christmas. It's amazing to put it together and the money is going to charity." Cruz is a big football fan, and admitted that Manchester United losing made him the most "cross", along with doing homework. During the video chat, proud dad David popped into the camera view to say hello while supervising Cruz's interview. He spoke about how pleased he was with Cruz's song, saying: "Really proud! He's having fun, he's enjoying it!"
