David Beckham takes son Cruz on boys' day out – see the sweet photos

Just days after releasing his debut single, Cruz Beckham enjoyed a day out with his dad David. The father-son duo went for a refreshing cycle ride around Richmond Park, where Cruz got close to "Rudolph" aka a local deer.

The 11-year-old posted a series of snaps on his newly opened Twitter and Instagram accounts, giving fans a glimpse of his and David's bonding session.

"Riding with my dad today in the park," wrote Cruz on Instagram. The schoolboy and his famous dad looked sweet, wearing matching beanie hats and grinning at the camera.

Cruz cheekily posed up close to a deer in another shot, writing: "Just met Rudolph in Richmond Park!! 11 days to Christmas!!"

The youngster appeared to be imitating his dad in another snap, donning a fake moustache and writing: "Do you like my moustache?"

Cruz has just opened his social media accounts but has already amassed thousands of followers. The second youngest of the Beckham children has 244,000 Instagram followers and 11,100 on Twitter.

Cruz has just released his new charity single, If Everyday Was Christmas

The rising star has been promoting his new charity single, If Everyday Was Christmas, since its release last week. During an appearance on Capital FM, Cruz spoke about the catchy track, saying: "Yeah it's amazing – it's two of my favourite things: singing and Christmas. It's amazing to put it together and the money is going to charity."

During the video chat, proud dad David popped into the camera view to say hello while supervising Cruz's interview. He spoke about how pleased he was with Cruz's song, saying: "Really proud! He's having fun, he's enjoying it!"

The Beckhams enjoyed a day out together

Cruz also chatted about Christmas mornings at the Beckham household, revealing that David always pretends there aren't any presents under the tree. "We always wake up at 6 am," he said. "And we go downstairs and my dad says, 'Wait let me check if there's presents downstairs' and he comes back up and he's like, 'Aw there's none.'"
