Cheryl made sure she was there to support best friend Kimberley Walsh, who had just given birth to her second child, on Wednesday. Kimberley and her husband Justin Scott confirmed their happy news to HELLO! that same day, saying: "We're all so happy, Bobby's so excited to be a big brother." The 35-year-old - who already has a two-year-old son, Bobby, with Justin - went on to reveal how "excited" Cheryl was to meet her new bundle of joy.

Just moments later, the delighted mother-of-two took to Twitter to add: "We have another beautiful baby boy, couldn't be happier!" Kimberley announced her second pregnancy in an exclusive interview with HELLO! Magazine in June. The former pop star recalled the moment how she and her husband found out they were going to be parents. "We knew soon after we got married that we'd be very happy for baby number two to come along. When I first met Justin 14 years ago, I told him I wanted four children," she explained, before adding: "We're both over the moon."

Cheryl has paid Kimberley Walsh's newborn son a visit

Although Cheryl hasn't officially confirmed her pregnancy, Kimberley recently revealed how happy her friend is with the pregnancy. "Cheryl is really happy," she told Closer Magazine. "I'm just happy she’s happy. And she'll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she's used to the madness of children. Both she and Nicola [Roberts] are naturally good with kids. I think they've both always planned to settle down and have a family."

Meanwhile, the expectant star recently confessed that she doesn't "need anything" for Christmas this year as she reflected on family time. "I used to really look forward to what I was going to get, but now I just don't need anything," she told The Mirror. "I just love the quiet time, the family time. Being with people, that's what's important to me. I like giving gifts more than receiving them. Selfishly. I actually get more pleasure out of watching their faces, giving them something they really want."
