Cheryl set tongues wagging on Thursday after she posted a cryptic video about karma just days after her ex-husband Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini broke his silence on her pregnancy.
The video was posted on the star's Twitter and Instagram accounts and captioned: "For the record…", accompanied by crying laugh and side smile emojis. In the clip, US reality show star Tami Roman says: "For the record every negative thing you say, do think or write shall be returned to you 10 fold… all of those negative things and negative energy are going in vain. Out here shovelling the next person's grave when you need to jump yourself in because you're only digging it for yourself.

"When you negative and when you evil and you mean-spirited, you will one day look around at your life and see the way things is going ain't really the way that you planned them to be. That's called karma." The Fight For This Love singer's video post comes shortly after Fernandez-Versini opened up about her pregnancy. spoke about finding out about her pregnancy on the news. Speaking to the Evening Standard, he said: "Funnily enough that [the news] was how I heard. It's a great thing to have babies. There are so many sad things these days, if everyone was creating life, the world would be a better place."

He also spoke about his ex-wife's music, and the beginning of their relationship. "Um, it's good music, sure," he said when asked about it during the interview. "It's not what I listen to all the time but she's a good singer." Speaking about his marriage to the singer, he said: "I was out of the scene for a couple of years during my marriage. It's the same as everybody who starts a relationship, you don’t see your friends as much as you used to, but I'm meeting new people… I liked the chemistry we had. I'm sure if you’ve watched her on TV you can see she has a great sense of humour."
The timing of Cheryl's tweet led fans to voice their support for the star. One wrote: "Yay! Go Cheryl - so glad you are happy now. It's been #ALongTimeComing… Have a wonderful Christmas 2017 gonna be awesome." Another added: "Tell em girl you were amazing and you have a lot of support." However, other fans felt that the cryptic video could have been related to the backlash following her episode of Who Do You Think You Are, which aired on Thursday night, as some viewers accused the former X Factor judge of feigning surprise at the revelations about her heritage. One fan wrote: "I'm sure it was the most watched episode of WDYTYA. Haters gonna hate but they still tuned in to watch."
