George Michael's partner Fadi Fawaz has opened up about finding the iconic star dead on Christmas morning.
The celebrity hairstylist took to Twitter to write about finding George on the morning of his death, writing: "It's a Xmas I will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning… I will never stop missing you." He also changed his Twitter biography to a short caption with reads: "I will never stop missing you…" Fans were quick to offer their condolences, with one replying to Fadi's tweet: "Fadi my heart is broken cannot believe he's gone my thoughts and prayers are with you," while another added: "We are devastated but for you I can't imagine the pain. Be strong for your love Fadi & take comfort in knowing he was so loved."

George died aged 53 from heart failure according to his manager, who confirmed the sad news in a statement to HELLO!. He wrote: "It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period. The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage."
Friends of the star have been quick to offer their condolences, with his former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley among them. He tweeted: "Heartbroken at the loss of my beloved friend Yog. Me, his loved ones, his friends, the world of music, the world at large. 4ever loved. A xx". Elton John also sent his respects to the late singer, writing: "I am in deep shock. I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist. My heart goes out to his family, friends and all of his fans."
