It's been over seven years since he was left a single father to his two sons following the death of their mother Jade Goody. And on Tuesday, Jeff Brazier asked his social media followers to help him with a guide he is writing to help bereaved children deal with their grief.

Sharing a gorgeous picture of his two boys - Bobby Jack, aged 13, and Freddie, aged 12 - on Instagram, the TV presenter wrote: ‪"About to write the next chapter of my book #GuideToSurvivingGrief 'What bereaved children want/need from a step-parent' Any views/experience on this please."

Jeff, 37, has been bringing up his children as a single parent since his ex-girlfriend and Big Brother star Jade lost her fight with cancer in March 2009. He has since found love again with current partner Kate Dwyer, who now lives in the family home.

The father-of-two often talks about fatherhood, previously telling Mail Online: "I've morphed into something quite different from your average dad. I'm probably far more sensitive to their feelings and I'm far more aware of when they need emotional support. There are little side effects of my situation where you become really good at doing quite a lot on your own. I've got an ability to push myself beyond tiredness because if I don't do it, it doesn't get done."

His girlfriend Kate recently spoke about her relationship with his two sons. She took Instagram to admit she finds living with somebody else's teenage children "challenging". Posting a photo of a drawing which showed herself and Jeff as superheroes, she wrote: "I would be lying if I said that there isn't occasions when living full time with someone else's (teenage) children is both challenging and overwhelming, but then one of them does something like this and it all makes sense."
