Little Mix star Perrie Edwards is set to face off with her ex-fiancé Zayn Malik at the 2017 Brit Awards. The former couple, who split in summer 2015, will go head-to-head after they both received nominations in two of the same categories.
Both acts have been shortlisted for the British single award, with Zayn getting a nod for his debut single Pillowtalk, while Little Mix have been nominated for Shout Out To My Ex - which is believed to reference Perrie's breakup from Zayn after their four-year relationship.

The pair have also been nominated for British Artist Video of the Year; Little Mix for Hair and Zayn for Pillowtalk, which stars his current girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
Along with grime artist Skepta, Little Mix received the most nominations for this year's awards, having also been nominated in the British Group category.

Meanwhile David Bowie has received two posthumous Brit nominations for Best Album and British Male Solo Artist, one year after his death following a secret battle with cancer.
Leonard Cohen also received a posthumous nomination for International Male Solo Artist following his death in November at the age of 82.
