Olympic bronze medal winning diver Tom Daley has revealed that he is keen to get involved in a celebrity version of The Great British Bake Off. "I want to do Bake Off. But I'd only want to do it with Mary Berry," he exclusively told HELLO! Magazine.
Bake Off has previously filmed special Sports Relief episodes, with sporting stars such as footballers Jermaine Jenas and David James baking to raise money for the charity - so Tom will no doubt be a welcome addition to the show. The Plymouth-born athlete is launching a cookery book called Tom's Daily Plan, which will be comprised of a mix of healthy recipes, workout routines and tips on mindfulness, meditation and positive thinking.

Tom Daley reveals he wants to appear on Bake Off
Tom, 22, seems to be adding another string to his bow with cooking. The athlete explained that he was taught how to cook by his grandparents. "From as young as I can remember, whenever I went to my grandma and granddad’s house with my brothers, we always used to make cakes."
Tom has also included his mum Debbie's casserole recipe, a favourite of his when he goes home. He has dedicated the book to his late father, who died from cancer in 2011. "He always enjoyed being in the kitchen," the star recalled. "One of my fondest memories of him is that every night he used to cook a stir-fry."
The star is engaged to screenwriter Dance Lance Black
His focus is now on training for the Tokyo 2020 Games, but he also has a wedding on the horizon with Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter Dance Lance Black, 42. He noted: "We're keeping plans under wraps for now, but it's all going so well. It's so exciting, I'm so looking forward to it."
Tom's Daily Plan is published by HQ and priced at £16.99.
