Gary Barlow's daughter is growing up fast! The Take That singer has posted a gorgeous photo of his little girl who turned eight last week.

Wrapping his arms around Daisy and hugging her from behind, Gary looked every inch the proud dad. The sunny snap was taken on a beautiful day out at the beach.

"A very happy 8th birthday to my little Daisy," Gary, who rarely shares photos of his three children, wrote on Twitter.

It's been a month of celebrations for the Barlows. On Friday, Gary marked his 46th birthday and took to Twitter to thank his fans for their well wishes. "Thank you for all your lovely messages! I'm just opening my presents!" he posted, before jokily adding: "Can't believe I'm 34 xxx."

His Take That bandmates Howard Donald and Mark Owen were among those who tweeted the birthday boy. "Happy birthday to my good friend @GaryBarlow. Hope your dreams come true and have a wonderful day! XX" wrote Howard.

Mark, meanwhile, shared a hilarious throwback image and tweeted: "Happy Birthday Mr. B. Have the best day.... Love M.O X."

On 12 January, Gary and his wife Dawn also celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. The Back For Good singer thrilled fans by sharing a photo of his stunning wife, who rarely steps into the spotlight.

The couple met in 1995 when Dawn was a dancer on the band's Nobody Else tour. They married in 2000 and went on to have three children – Daniel, Emily and Daisy. In 2012, Gary and Dawn sadly lost their fourth child, a daughter named Poppy who was delivered stillborn.

Gary is focusing his energy and time on his new BBC One show, Let It Shine. The Saturday night show looks for five young men to star in a new stage musical based on the music of the massively popular boyband. Take That's Mark and Howard are involved too.

"We're all excited," Gary told HELLO! magazine. "We're all producers of the show. This is our baby, really. It's a celebration of our career. Hopefully this music will live on way beyond our capability to perform. When we're in wheelchairs being pushed around an old folks' home, this musical will still be touring."
