Jessica Knowles has admitted that she's often asked if she's dating anyone. And the single mum, who split from her husband Nick Knowles last year, always has the perfect response.
Writing in her HELLO! Online blog this week, Jessica revealed: "A question I get asked a lot at the moment is – are you dating anyone? This is usually followed by raucous laughter by me, only stopping when I realise it was a serious question.
"I can only assume people are interested because we are all obsessed with love – M&S are advertising for Valentine's Day already! So the answer is, no, of course not! I'm a full-time mum and too many other exciting things are happening to keep me busy."
Jessica's response to her dating was: 'No, of course not!'
Jessica has her hands full with her and Nick's little boy Eddie, who turns three this summer. She's also preparing for a move back to her hometown Cheltenham, and is about to launch a new blog tailored for fellow single mums.
Revealing where the idea came from, Jessica wrote: "Two years ago in Spain I came up with the idea for Mum Plus One – a blog for single mums. At the time I was living out in Spain and having the most incredible adventures with Eddie and thought it would be a visually interesting blog with some travel tips thrown in for good measure about solo travelling with your little one…
"Fast forward two years and I've single handily moved back to the UK, I've had a miscarriage, been diagnosed with (and recovered from) cervical cancer and separated from my husband."
"I'm a full-time mum and too many other exciting things are happening to keep me busy," she wrote
Earlier this week Jessica attended the Nordoff Robbins rugby dinner at The Grosvenor. Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people.
When asked if she's thought about dating, Jessica again admitted that she hasn't, and that she still cares a lot about her ex Nick, 54.
Jessica admitted that she still cares about Nick a lot
"I literally haven't thought about dating," Jessica told the Sunday People. "I'm happy to just be in a stable, calm place. I can't imagine what it'd be like if we were at each other's throats. He's very attractive and I care about him lots."
"We are really supportive of each other," she added.
Jessica and Nick married in September 2012 and welcomed their son Eddie in 2014. They split in January 2016 and again in December after briefly attempting a reconciliation.
