The wait is over! The music video for Ed Sheeran's new song Castle on the Hill has arrived and it features an actor who bares an uncanny likeness to Ed, taking on the role of his former self. Filmed in the 25-year-old's native Framlingham, Suffolk, the coming-of-age video is a snapshot into the star's teen years.

Taking to his social media pages, Ed revealed the actors in the video were all residents from his hometown. "Loved filming this in Fram," he told his follower. "All these kids are actually from my high school!"

"My dad had a bit of fun a couple of years after I was born," Ed previously joked. "Because he does look quite similar."

Speaking about his monumental comeback, Ed said: "Hello 2017! I've been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I'm equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I'm absolutely buzzing to be back."
