They are two of the biggest pop stars on the planet, so it was only a matter of time before Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik created something incredible together. Taking to their respective pages on social media on Friday, the two stars unveiled the new music video for I Don't Wanna Live Forever, the soundtrack to the highly anticipated Fifty Shades Darker.
Directed by Grant Singer, the sizzling video sees the singers slowly navigate London's grand St Pancras Renaissance hotel before they enter a dimly lit bedroom and trash the décor. In the clip, Taylor sings: "Wonder if I dodged a bullet / Or just lost the love of my life?" To which Zayn responds: "What is happening to me? / I don't wanna live forever/ 'Cause I know I'll be living in vain, I just want to keep calling your name, until you come back home."
The track was produced by Lena Dunham's partner Jack Antonoff, while Taylor and Sam Dew co-wrote the lyrics. Jack, who also co-wrote the song, recently said on Twitter: "I Don't Wanna Live Forever came together very quickly. Wrote it with Taylor and Sam Dew and produced it at home ... Recorded Taylor at my house. Zayn sent parts from LA - we did it in a week basically. I've never had something come out that quick. Loved making this song with Taylor, Sam and Zayn."
