Cheryl has long loved the royal family, so it's no surprise that she's taken inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge. According to a report in the Mirror, Cheryl has opted to use the same baby pram brand as mum-of-two Kate.

Cheryl, who is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Liam Payne, is said to have received a delivery for a buggy from Silver Cross. The pregnant singer is even thought to have ordered the exact same pram as the one Prince George had.

Silver Cross is a heritage British nursery brand that specialises in coach built baby carriages. They have supplied prams to the royal family for over a century.

The Queen herself was pushed around in a Silver Cross pram as a baby, as were Prince Charles and Princess Diana. As parents, they followed suit and chose the Yorkshire brand for sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

Kate carried on the royal tradition in 2013 when she and William welcomed their first son, Prince George. But the doting mum asked for specific features to be included in her son's pram, which cost approximately £1,600.

With the guidance of her mum Carole, Kate asked for an insect net, which has now become a standard feature across all Silver Cross prams.

At the time, Nick Paxton, CEO of the brand, told CNN: "We supplied a couple of extra accessories including an insect net. It was a very good summer when Prince George was born. Our head of design went to the Middleton family home and presented it to the Duchess' mum. We did a full demonstration so that the product was safe and used correctly."

The royals have used Silver Cross prams for decades

George's pushchair was a cross between a traditional pram for royal babies and a more modern baby buggy. While it came at a hefty price, other heritage editions from Silver Cross can sell for thousands more.

Dubbed the "Rolls-Royce of prams," the Silver Cross business received a royal warrant in the early 20th century.
